An early morning walk through Flushing has revealed the mass amount of the litter that is being left on the beach and in the village.
Nub News has continually reported on this topic as residents battle with beachgoers to keep their home clean.
A flushing resident this morning found fifteen bottles, five cans, cigarette packets, cigarette filters and wrappers all wrapped in bubble wrap.
They went on to find five more cans twenty metres away from empty bins at the top of the beach, as well as a whole roll of toilet paper.
"This is never okay and I just can't get my head around how you would think it might be," the resident wrote in an open letter to the culprit on social media.
Even with a cleaning rota, the litter is still too much to keep on top of.
All of this rubbish was found on just two points of the beach, and the resident has said there is still three-quarters left that will be covered in the rota later this morning.
"Also, fires do not put themselves out above the tide line - it's not difficult to understand," the open letter concluded.
