From Monday 30th March Falmouth Food Co-op Kitchen (FFCK) will be batch cooking healthy vegetarian meals at the Dracaena Centre to deliver to those isolating and in need of food twice a week.

Anyone in the Falmouth and Penryn area can sign up for food through the online form which can be found on their website.

The FFCK has been cooking for the Falmouth and Penryn community since January, holding pay-as-you-feel feasts. These events aim to support local producers while making food accessible to everyone.

They hope to start up these events again in the future.

A spokesperson for Falmouth Food Co-op gave Nub News some advice on eating during the coronavirus pandemic:

"Now it's even more important than usual to support your health and immune system.

"Although food choices may be limited, trying to eat some healthy meals with fresh veg is where you can really benefit.

"You can make a weekly meal plan to avoid buying things too often, reduce any waste and make the most of any fresh produce that needs eating first."

As well as their website, you can sign up for food on their hotline 01326 567526.
