Falmouth and Penryn residents have come together on social media to comfort and educate each other during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 'Covid-19 mutual aid and solidarity Falmouth and Penryn' Facebook page was created by Robin Markland, as an initiative of his community organisation, Community Heart.
The group is used by the community to ask questions, voice concerns and offer help to those who are self-isolating at this time.
Robin Markland, creator of Community Heart, told Nub News:
"It's such a confusing time at the moment and we need to be together as a community more than ever.
"With so many different voices in the media, it is important that we stick together and give each other advice and support where we can."
The page has grown in popularity quickly, gaining over one thousand members in just two days.
Robin Markland has also called for artists to live stream performances onto the group in a response to a significant number of local venues closing and to provide dedicated entertainment to people in isolation.
You can join the group and get involved here.
