The next general election will see Cherilyn Mackrory stand again in Truro and Falmouth.

Cherilyn has been unanimously re-adopted by the Truro and Falmouth Conservative Association as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate.

This means that when a General Election is called, Cherilyn will be the Conservative candidate standing for election in the constituency.

Cherilyn said:

"I was delighted to address a packed meeting of local Conservative Party members about my achievements so far and hopes for the future as MP for Truro and Falmouth.

"It is a pleasure and an honour to serve as MP for Truro & Falmouth, and I was delighted to see the strong endorsement of local Conservatives of my positive work as Member of Parliament for our constituency over such an unprecedented and difficult time, with their unanimous re-adoption of me as their Parliamentary Candidate.

"While we do not know when the next General Election will be, or indeed who my opponents for the election I will be, I guarantee that in the meantime I will continue to work my hardest on behalf of all residents of our wonderful constituency to build back better in Truro and Falmouth and make our Cornwall a brilliant place for all."
