Casualty airlifted to hospital after incident at Falmouth Docks

Emergency services were called out to Falmouth Docks this week following an incident.

Falmouth Coastguard were tasked to carry out a 'person rescue' after an incident onboard a vessel on Monday afternoon (25th).

The coastguard said they worked alongside Cornwall Air Ambulance, the ambulance service, Devon and Cornwall Police, and Docks staff to remove the casualty.

The casualty was then transported to the Air Ambulance for further treatment.

A spokesperson for Falmouth Coastguard added: "We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
