Busy week for the Air Ambulance with the team attending a serious incident in Falmouth

The Cornish Air Ambulance has responded to 14 incidents in the past week - including one in Falmouth.

Sharing the news on social media, the team has been tasked across Cornwall and landing in Falmouth to assist in a serious incident.

As well as Falmouth, there were two missions to the Isles of Scilly, Saltash, Looe, Hayle, Bodmin, Par, Liskeard, Newquay, Bude, and Penzance.

Revealing further details to Nub News, a spokesperson for Cornwall Air Ambulance said the crew landed in Falmouth at 10:17am with one patient transferred to Royal Cornwall Hospital by land ambulance, alongside critical care paramedics from Air Ambulance.

No further details were given on the incident.

"As you can tell, emergencies can happen in any place at any time," the Air Ambulance spokesperson added.
