A local business based at Gyllyngvase Beach has revealed the damage following an evening of antisocial behaviour.

A member of the team from Gylly Adventures, an adventure activity business, arrived early at the beach this morning to find their sign burnt and human waste in one of their storage spaces.

"The perpetrator clearly knew and did not care what they were doing, they were considerate enough to remove the slot in boards, before burning it," a spokesperson for Gylly Adventures said this morning.

Human waste was discovered in the overflow kit store and numerous open fires were also left, even more dangerous as nails were found in the sand.

"This does not represent Gylly Beach or its community. Everyone is welcome to this amazing beach on the condition they treat it with care," the business added.

Another resident also shared images this morning of nearby Queen Mary Gardens where a significant amount of broken glass and plastic was left scattered across the gardens.
