A popular hotel in Mawnan Smith, Budock Vean is gearing up to welcome back customers.
The announcement was made on the hotel website recently, with the hotel, restaurant and self-catering accommodation set to reopen on Friday 10th July.
Martin Barlow, Owner and Managing Director said in an announcement:
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers for their patience and understanding and for all the support you have shown us over the last three months.
"And I would like to thank all our wonderful team of staff for their support too; in particular, those who have continued to work throughout lockdown.
"When we open, you can expect Budock Vean to offer its customary warm and caring welcome; safe and responsible hospitality, building on our longstanding commitment to our environment."
In response to the Government guidelines, the hotel has released a 12-point Covid Care Plan, which you can read here.
In order to maintain the required social distance, the hotel will only be open to guests booked to stay in the hotel and in the self-catering accommodation, and to Golf and Country Club members, not for day visitors.
The golf course, tennis courts and kayaking are already all open but Budock Vean waiting on confirmation as to when they can re-open the Natural Health Spa, swimming pool, hot tub, and boat trips around the Helford River.
Martin Barlow added:
"It has seemed a long time since we closed our doors back in late March and so it will be a great joy to see our customers returning and enjoying the hotel, our extensive grounds and the Helford River area again. With 65 acres there's more than enough room."
