Shoppers at B&Q were left puzzled this afternoon (16th) after the early closure of the Penryn store.

The Penryn branch, based on Kernick Road, was closed all morning.

Revealing the reason behind the closure a B&Q spokesperson told Nub News that it was due to a covid incident.

They said:

"We can confirm that our Penryn store was temporarily closed following one team member receiving a positive (Covid-19) test result.

"Closing the store for deep clean is a precautionary measure and goes beyond government advice. The store has since re-opened "
