A local garage was reportedly subjected to a horrific onslaught of vandalism just a day before New Year.

Boslowick Garage said a mob of teenagers was seen attempting to destroy anything they could get their hands on, on the evening of 30th December.

The group was supposedly caught on CCTV destroying equipment, running over sale cars, and trying to spill petrol from hoses whilst smoking.

In a statement to followers on social media, the garage said the vandalism had been reported to the police alongside CCTV footage.

A spokesperson for the garage said:

"This marauding mob knows who they are and we have pictures of them from the CCTV; they are banned for life.

"Hopefully, these teenagers will take this as a lesson learned and turn over a new leaf in the new year."

Devon and Cornwall Police have been approached for further comment.
