Big win for Baker Tom's at Great British Food Awards

Popular eatery and bakery, Baker Tom's has scooped a coveted title in the Great British Food Awards.

Baker Tom's - with one of the cafes on Church Street, Falmouth won in the best bakery category as voted by the public.

Great British Food commented, "Baker Tom's began in a kitchen in a corner of the South West over 10 years ago; founder Tom Hazzledine baked his first couple of loaves of fresh bread and biked them to his local farm shop.

"Today the bakery has five shops, two cafes, a mobile van and an online shop and products are available wholesale throughout Cornwall and Devon."

A spokesperson for Baker Tom's said:

"This award is especially important to us as it was voted for by the public - 11,000 Great British Food readers selected their foodie favourites and we are thrilled to have been chosen as the winners. Thanks to all our customers for your ongoing support."
