Arrests after drugs found growing in Mylor property

Officers attending a property following "verbal threats" made by a resident ended up discovering drugs in the house.

Police were called out at 4.20pm on Saturday (30th) to Meadowbank, Mylor Bridge following reports that verbal threats had been made threats to harm another person.

A police spokesperson said:

"On attendance officers located drugs within the property, believed to be cannabis. These were seized.

"A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and cultivation of cannabis. He was later issued with an adult simple caution.

"A 50-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of drugs. She was later released with no further action being taken."
