Beverley Hunt, Cornwall, has set the ambitious task of walking the Cornish coast before 2020 – all to raise money and awareness for The Humanimal Trust.

The trust supports 'One Medicine for humans and animals', with the belief that humans and animals should benefit simultaneously from advances in medicine and healthcare.

Beverley got the idea of the fundraiser after watching Channel 4's 'Supervet' programme and was fascinated by the advancements in veterinary medicine.

On her fundraiser page, she says: "Being lucky enough to live in Cornwall, and being a keen photographer, I'm often out and about taking pictures of the stunning scenery around me. On a recent visit this summer to Bedruthan Steps on the North Cornwall coast, somewhere I haven't visited in years, I realised there is so much of the Cornish Coast I haven't yet seen.

"My goal is to raise as much money as I can for the Humanimal Trust and my challenge started in April 2018, on my birthday. I've been tweeting pictures of each walk and I've had a lot of amazing support already. My original target of £500 has already been reached and now, I'd like to at least double it."

Beverley completed walk number 28 on Saturday, Lelant to St Ives, showcasing stunning photos of the beaches on her Twitter page.

When the 50th walk is completed, she will collate all the most popular photos into a calendar, with all proceeds going towards The Humananimal Trust.
