A local wildlife rescue group is searching for any potential witnesses following multiple gull attacks yesterday (13th) - one in Falmouth.

On Arwenack Street a white van allegedly drove into a gull, with the organisation stating that they're not sure if the birds will make it after being left in "agony."

A spokesperson from West Cornwall Wildlife Rescue and Rehab said:

"A witness saw a white van allegedly drive deliberately at a young fledgeling Herring Gull on this one-way street at approx 20:15 this evening.

"When Chloe-Mai attended the poor bird was found screaming in pain. She rushed it to the local out of hours vet where it's being treated for shock and giving pain relief before treatment.

"For this potential wildlife crime there is a witness and hopefully, CCTV, the police wildlife crimes unit and the RSPCA are being informed."
