Appeal for information following boat thefts in Flushing and surrounding areas

Police are currently appealing for anyone with information in connection with reports of thefts of boats in the Falmouth and Truro area.

A police spokesperson said:

"We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with reports of thefts of boats in the Truro/Falmouth area recently."

The boat stolen in Flushing was a grey Waveline dinghy - Model WL230SSXS. Stolen with its launch wheels.

It is believed to have been taken between 9am Friday 5th June and 9am Monday 8th June. The crime reference number is CR/046121/20.

Two more boats have been stolen in the surrounding area recently also.

A police spokesperson said:

"A Dell Quay Dory boat with serial number 7738, along with a trailer and outboard engine, was stolen from the area of the Quay in Devoran. Between 9am on Wednesday 3 June and 9pm on Sunday 7 June 2020 - CR/045524/20.

"A Starfish rowing boat dinghy, red and white in colour, was stolen from the garden of a property in the area of Kea, Truro - CR/045543/20."

Anyone with information on these three boats should phone 101 or email [email protected] quoting the crime reference.
