A zoology student has appealed for information following the theft of an expensive camera trap.

Ellen Groom set up the wildlife camera trap at College Reservoir, Penryn on Saturday and when she returned on Sunday it had disappeared.

Ellen is keen to get the camera back after investing around £100 on the model.

She has asked for people to keep an eye out for "suspicious activity."

Speaking to Nub News, Ellen said:

"We often put out camera traps so theft is always an issue.

"If I replace it I'll be getting a cheaper one."

If you have any information you can contact Ellen through Facebook.
