Falmouth will play host today (Thursday, 9 February) to the first joint official visit by the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall since their acession to the title in the wake of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince William became Duke of Cornwall following the accession of his father, King Charles III, to the thronelast year, and his wife, Catherine, became Duchess of Cornwall.

The Duke and Duchess will learn about Cornwall's heritage when they visit the National Maritime Museum before visiting the Dracaena Centre local community centre which is going the extra mile to give opportunities to individuals while building a supportive and cohesive community.
