A brand new seafood restaurant is opening up in Falmouth by the people who brought you Four-Teas Tea Room.

Four-Seas Seafood Restaurant and Grill, situated in A Curious Hall on Webber Street, will be bringing residents a intimate dining experience with sustainable and ethically sourced produce.

Owner Lynda and volunteer Angie have had a tumultuous journey through lockdown.

They have faced many setbacks, unable to receive any government funding due to being such a new business.

The cafe, unfortunately, ran into a loss of stock in March when Lynda and Angie found their power had been switched off after closing.

Despite the setbacks, the two women have kept pushing and will soon simultaneously running three businesses.

The seafood restaurant will be opening its doors to the public on August 1st.

"This will be very different to Four-Teas in many ways," Volunteer Angie told Nub News.

"The decor is more modern. Uniform and the menu is very different but we do have some of the great dishes that have been on offer during lockdown via our takeaway menu."

The Four-Teas Tea Room remains in operation next door to the Four-Seas restaurant.

Diners will have the option of two very different experiences.

The Four-Seas Restaurant will be open two afternoons 12-2pm (Fri & Sat) and will be open seven evenings (5-10pm).

The Four-Teas Tea Room will remain open seven days a week.

Both restaurants will be running the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme - you can find out more about that here.

Bygone Days Trading Co, the vintage & retro store, has relocated upstairs in the Hall.

This means that a larger capacity of people can visit while also maintaining social distancing (ten people at a time).
