A new cocktail delivery service is being launched in Falmouth which aims to serve fun, premium drinks to residents in lockdown.

One For The Road, created by Andrew Bell, wants to give people a break from the norm of lockdown routine and serve them something to enjoy during their 'big nights in'.

The cocktails are served chilled in a jar with room left for ice, so residents can enjoy their drink as they would in a bar.

Andrew Bell has over 20 years experience in the bar industry, previously co-owning The Brig in Falmouth.

He's also won multiple competitions including the Cornwall Cocktail Championships 2018.

Andrew told Nub News:

"With no one able to get the social experience you can get at bars - I thought it was a good idea to bring that to people.

"It enables people to take a bit of a break from the darkness that is around us at the moment."

One For The Road has teamed up with Kinn Asia, who opened its doors again recently, to allow people to collect their drinks alongside their food order.

"I feel like it's a good way to promote community while we can't get together as a community right now," Andrew said.

One For The Road's Menu:

•  Espresso Jar-tini (The Espresso Martini we all know and love...in a jar)

• Jar-garita (You've guessed it, it's a Margarita...in a jar)

• Strawberry Daiquiri (Just Yum)

• Pornstar (Everyone loves them, no prosecco provided but it's ready if you have some and delicious even if you don't)

• June Bug (Sunshine in a Jar in these cloudy times)

You can pre-order by 9pm Thursday for a Friday delivery or 9pm Friday for a Saturday delivery.
