A Falmouth hotel is hosting a murder mystery night with all proceeds going to charity.

All proceeds will be going to Shelterbox relief charity, based in Truro.

Shelterbox aims to provide emergency shelter to people in disaster zones and helps families to rebuild their lives.

Merchants Manor hotel and spa are hosting the killer event on the 13th March.

A prize will be given to the group who successfully finds the murderer first and for the best male and female 1970s costume - there will also be a variety of raffles to take part in.

Merchant Manor says in the invitation:

"You are invited to attend a party at which a surprise announcement will be made.

"Sir Charles Waterman and his family are looking forward to a night to remember, a=but sadly as it turns out, it will be for all the wrong reasons.

"Comedy with a madcap aunt… tragedy with murder and suspicion. The guests will have to unmask the killer or killers, whilst enjoying a three-course dinner as the drama unfolds."

You can find out more information on the event by calling Merchants Manor on 01326 312734.
