Yesterday evening, Nub News got a look inside PhoBar's new home on Quay Street, Falmouth.

Formerly operating a pop-up takeaway in The Wheelhouse, PhoBar opened on New Year's Eve - with big plans for the place.

The regular opening hours are 5-9 Thursday to Saturday, call 07577422296 to place an order.

Run by Tom and Emma, most of the takeaway's decor is handmade with Tom crafting the outside (as seen in the picture), shelves and most recently a new pass.

Speaking to Nub News on how the first few weeks have been, they said:

"It has been pretty steady, we have had lots of previous customers which is great.

"We are hoping to put a bar in, there will be spots to hang out and wait for your takeaway so you can order, wait inside, have a beer, get your food and eat it outside.

"At the moment we are just trying to do enough business to sustain it whilst we get our ideas together then we will start to change it all.

"We want to make a cool little space for people to wait for their food basically - an experience."
