Students at Falmouth College were today (10th) celebrating a "well deserved" set of A Level and BTEC results.

These results are the culmination of two years of studies for most students and the final stage of Falmouth College before going onto the next steps of their careers.

An extremely challenging academic year with the covid pandemic throwing significant challenges towards the students.

Also producing great results was the college's Football Scholarship programme run by Plymouth Argyle at Carn Brae.

One of the students on the programme, Nathan, will be going to Plymouth Marjon to study Sport Rehabilitation and Conditioning.

Callum will be taking his place at the University of Portsmouth for Sport and Exercise Science.

Dr Matt Fox, Head of Falmouth College said:

"The pandemic has been difficult for all students but we hope that with these well-deserved grades that they can move on to their next phase and think of the all great times they had at Falmouth College."

The college expressed their delight that a number of students are going to be studying at local universities, Alfie, Owen, and Jacob are off to Falmouth University and four others are going to Exeter University.

Francine Atkinson, Deputy Head of College added:
