'Lock all property away': Residents on alert after items stolen from boat in Helford

Police are appealing for witnesses following a recent theft from a boat in Helford.

The incident occurred around Tuesday 28th July, it is believed that the boat was cast adrift and recovered.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with a report of theft from a boat in Helford.

"Items stolen include a Mercury 3.5 HP Long shaft outboard engine with serial number OR788363, 5 litre can of petrol and extension tiller.

"Please be wary and lock all property away if possible."
