One man was arrested in Falmouth yesterday (22nd) following anti-social and abusive behaviour.

The male was banned from the town centre for 24 hours.

A spokesperson for the Falmouth police team said:

"Following a report of anti-social and abusive behaviour in the town centre, one drunk male has been issued a 'direction to leave' notice."

Failure to follow the notice meant the man was placed under arrest, the spokesperson added:

"The male causing issues in Falmouth town centre has now been arrested for failing to comply with the direction to leave notice. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated."
