Cornwall Art Galleries, based on Arwenack Street in Falmouth has started a phased reopening and is now taking orders online.

The business closed temporarily on the 19th March as staff went into isolation and it didn't seem viable to stay open.

Pip Carlton-Barnes, Manager at Cornwall Art Galleries told Nub News how the store is "working hard" to get the gallery safe for customers and staff but wants to make a tentative start.

Cornwall Art Galleries made the announcement on social media saying:

"We are pleased to announce that our online shop is open and we are able to start taking orders for direct delivery. We are working on getting all of our catalogue available but it is a slow process and we are not able to offer direct delivery on everything so please be patient as we work through the solutions.

"We are not yet ready to open our shop doors and welcome you all back just yet as we need to get a few things in place to make it safe for you and our staff.

"Thank you all so much for your continued support and all your patience, we have missed you and can't wait to get back to some normality."
