Rachel Lang, a student nurse from Falmouth, has uploaded a video of her reaction to the #ClapForCarer campaign.

At 8pm on Thursday night, Falmouth joined together to clap out of their doors and windows to thank the NHS for everything they are doing in this difficult time.

Rachel Lang had just got home from her twelve-hour shift at Treliske Hospital to hear the applause from her home.

She uploaded this emotional video on to social media.

Rachel Lang told Nub News:

"As a student nurse you never really know what you're walking into, I try my best to walk into my shifts with confidence and positivity.

"But with the uncertainty and not really knowing what you're walking into it can be quite terrifying.

"I've come home feeling deflated and can hear the community clapping and cheering for us all.

"Such positive energy and support from members of my local community and those around the world makes me so proud to work for the NHS.

"For myself and all my colleagues, keep doing what you're doing because we are so much stronger together."
