Vandalism spree sees windows smashed and spray painted in Falmouth

Police have launched an appeal after reports of vandalism to properties on Theydon Road and Pengarth Rise, Falmouth.
Police have launched an appeal after reports of vandalism to properties on Theydon Road and Pengarth Rise, Falmouth.

Police have launched a witness appeal following reports of criminal damage to Falmouth properties.

Devon and Cornwall Police said vandals smashed and spray painted windows over the weekend.

Criminal damage was reported after a window was smashed on Pengarth Rise, Falmouth at approximately 10:15pm on Saturday 15th January (CR/004258/22).

In another incident, a property on Theydon Road Falmouth saw their window damaged with spray paint sometime between 10pm on Saturday 15th January and 11am on Sunday 16th January (CR/004457/22).

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"We ask for anyone with information or CCTV in the areas mentioned to please email [email protected], or phone 101 or use webchat on the Devon & Cornwall police website, quoting the relevant crime number. If you see any suspicious activity please phone 999."
