UPDATE: Two taken to hospital following A39 accident

UPDATE: A39 both ways re-opened, traffic returned to normal, accident cleared from A393 (Treluswell Roundabout) to A394 (Treliever Roundabout).


Two people have been taken to hospital this evening following a serious accident on the A39 Penryn.

Police were tasked at around 5pm this evening following a call that two vehicles had crashed between Treliever and Treluswell Roundabout heading towards Asda.

The Force Incident Manager told Nub News:

"Police got a call at 5pm this evening regarding an accident near Treluswell Roundabout.

"Two vans involved and both drivers taken to hospital, one with minor injuries and one with a suspected fracture."

The road remains closed at this time.
