The Falmouth community celebrated the full return of St Piran's Day at a packed out Princess Pavilion.

Previous years have been impacted by covid - but the celebrations returned in style on Saturday (5th) with a day of live music, dance, entertainment, food and drink.

It kicked off at 10am with a parade along the seafront to Gyllyngdune Gardens and Princess Pavilion led by Mayor and Mayoress of Falmouth, Steve, and Vicky Eva.

The parade attracted a large crowd of people, wearing costumes, Cornish tartan, waving Cornish flags, and performing circus tricks.

During the day until 8pm at the pavilions were performances from Halwin School Cornish Dancers, Swamp Circus, Akoustek, Whippletree, and Hanterhir. This was alongside St Piran's crab search and rock ramble on Castle Beach, storytelling, and Squidlets and friends.

Great to see so many people enjoying the celebrations which created a vibrant atmosphere. Gool peran lowen!
