Residents reported a young individual entering private gardens in Penryn yesterday.

Shared onto a community group a resident said the "young lad" was caught entering a garden on Calver Close and "snooping" in the shed.

He was described as wearing, "navy blue Wave Academy jumper, grey joggers and dark trainers."

This morning police confirmed they received a call from the property.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall police said:

"Police received a report of a man seen acting suspiciously in a private garden yesterday afternoon. The resident asked the man to leave and later informed police."
