Life's A Beach Maenporth: Grand reopening for new cafe

Yesterday was an important day for Maenporth Beach Cafe as they reopened their brand new premises.

Leann Wright, owner of Life's A Beach, with her son James have faced a long journey after a fire destroyed the business in May 2019 - but this is an exciting fresh start for the cafe.

The cafe has a new, light interior, an open plan kitchen and a pizza oven and bigger windows with superb views facing the beach.

The cafe team had their full first day in the new place yesterday, getting used to everything and appeared busy as we popped in to look around.

James told Nub News:

"This has been our life pretty much for the last couple of years, working from the trailer hasn't been ideal but we got through and now we can look forward to a good summer.

"If you come down we have good service, nice food and a relaxing atmosphere. In the summer we are hoping to do some evenings, pizza nights, a few different tweaks to what it was before.

"This is what we have had in mind for the past 18 months, since the fire happened, it is nice and bright with better views of the beach and we are really happy with how it has come out."

The cafe is still open 7 days a week 9:30am till 4pm, "we thank everyone who came to visit us and support us," they added following their first day back.
