It is now one day to go until the G7 summit gets underway in Cornwall.

As revealed earlier in the week, a huge operation is underway to ensure a smooth and safe running of the summit.

Around 6,500 police officers and staff will be deployed in total across the operation, and 5,000 rooms will be taken up at around 200 accommodation sites in Devon and Cornwall.

One of the sites G7 security will be using is Falmouth Rugby Club, The Recreation Ground, to monitor the media centre at Discovery Quay.

In exclusive pictures sent to Nub News, you can see where the 60 staff will be staying.

So, how long will they be there?

Club chairman John Bullock expects the site to be clear by the 18th June.

"We will be supporting the G7 and we will make a little money out of that and it will help pay for rugby next season," John commented
