This afternoon, member of the Cornwall Youth Climate Alliance made their feelings known about the G7 Summit.

In a peaceful protest with a strong message, the group took to the Media Centre with a huge banner in front reading "liar liar earth is on fire".

The protest started at Gylly Beach with various talks, speeches and songs before moving into town and finishing at Events Square, outside the International Media Centre.

All captured by local photographer Ian Butler, he said:

"The first of a small protest, although they are young they were very vocal and well heard."

The protest was organised by the new group Cornwall Youth Climate Alliance, described as a "rebellious cornish youth running climate strikes."
