Falmouth G7: Police announce end of disruptions in coming days

Devon and Cornwall Police have praised the support of the Falmouth community as G7 disruptions come to an end this week.

Ending this week will be road closures, public transport restrictions, barriers around host venues, maritime and aviation restrictions.

The lifting of disruptions began on the 13th of June and will continue in the coming days.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said:

"We'd like to thank the residents of/visitors to our host venues for all their support over the last days and weeks. We really appreciate it. Local and mutual aid officers have really enjoyed meeting you."

What is ending when in Falmouth?

Event Square closure - ends 17th June.

Museum Car Park closure - ends 17th June.

On street parking closure, section of Avenue Road - 18th/19th June.

Maritime and Grove Car Park closure - 19th June

Regional Airspace closure, intermittent road closure, 2 forms of ID required by residents in certain areas, have already ended.
