Falmouth G7: Caricatures of world leaders appear on Swanpool Beach

World leaders were seen taking in the Cornish sunshine this morning (12th), but not as we know them.

Caricatures of the G7 members popped up on Swanpool Beach, in photos shared to Nub News by local photographer Ian Butler.

Charity Oxfam has made a strong statement regarding the G7 Summit in Cornwall in recent days, commenting:

"At current vaccination rates, it will take 57 years for low income countries to be fully vaccinated. This weekend, G7 leaders have a chance to tackle this vaccine inequality.

"Biden and Macron are supporting the waiver of patents on Covid-19 vaccines which will help push Big Pharma to share vaccine recipes and increase production around the world.

"This is so everyone everywhere has a chance at accessing the life-saving protection they need. Other G7 leaders should too."
