A Falmouth Asian Fusion restaurant has announced it will be reopening next month.

Kinn Asia, situated on Arwenack Street, will be opening its doors to the public from July 8th.

Niparat Chellow Lhong, owner of Kinn Asia in Falmouth, previously opened the restaurant for takeaway during lockdown - but decided to close the establishment until they could reopen properly.

Following the government's announcement that restaurants, bars, hairdressers and more could reopen from July 4th, Lhong is now able to welcome customers back into the restaurant.

Writing on social media, KinnAsia said:

"Very much looking forward to seeing you and cooking yummy sushi and many more Asian dishes."

Kinn Asia closed for the first time back in March in response to the coronavirus.

"Unfortunately we have to close this weekend as we want to do everything right, we decided we need time to assist our best and possible way to prevent and control our health and safety from this outbreak of COVID-19," they wrote to customers.

Reacting to the news of the July reopening, one resident said: "So excited!"
