Penryn Primary Academy announced this morning that a pupil has tested positive for Coronavirus.

When schools reopened pupils were split up into 'bubbles' which keeps them separated into age group bubbles.

Due to the positive test, the affected bubble has been closed.

A Penryn Primary Academy spokesperson said:

"A year 4 pupil has tested positive for Coronavirus and affected 'Bubble' has been closed in line with PHE/Aspire H&S guidance.

"A letter has gone out to all parents with advice, should their child develop symptoms.

"Non-affected 'Bubbles' open for business as usual tomorrow."

More updates as we get them.
