Helen Trevaskis is an illustrator and writer with a love of storytelling, experimental image-making and tougher topics.
Her exhibition Haath features a series of one-off prints made early in 2019 after a visit to Mumbai for a friend’s wedding. The subject of each print is hands (Haath, means hand Hindi) which create a link between Helen’s past relationship with the city - helping design hand hygiene behaviour change programs in slums, with her new profession as an artist.
Helen is a recent graduate of Falmouth University’s Illustration BA with an MA in creative writing from Sussex University and an MSc in Social Anthropology from Edinburgh University. She is based at Krowji.
